| BUZZ about The Betty Ford Falcons . . . |
| It's not all that
often that I get over to the Central, in Pioneer Square. Okay, I'd never
been there at all before Sunday night, when, for lack of anything better
to do, two of my friends and I wandered inside and happened to catch
local quartet the Betty Ford Falcons. They were kinda a cross between
early Social Distortion and Motorhead. In other words, fast, trashy, and
LOUD (before they even started, the guitarist marveled at how fat his
Marshall stack sounded in the club's relatively small confines: "I've
never been this
big!!" he shouted to the sound guy, always a
good sign). Turned out to be a killer set and probably one of the better
ways to spend a cold, dead Sunday night in this town. - Posted on Seattle Weekly by Michael Goldberg |
| One word about the Falcons latest EP: "Fantastic". Rock blown in your face. Think Guns N' Roses and Motorhead add the 2 together and you get The Betty Ford Falcons. These guys truly rock and when I first heard them I could tell their music was coming from heart. Believe me, you don't come across many bands like "The Falcons". Has to be the most refreshing hard rock music. EVER. |
"Kind of like a cool version of an 80's rock band that supersedes its era by exploring and reprising the songs and sounds of punk, garage, grunge, and metal, with shoutouts to artists which might include Billy Squire, Pixies, Sex Pistols, and Ozzy. The lead singer belted out swell vocals somewhere between Bon Scott, Ian McKaye, and the masters of butt rock." - Milkcrate |

"Trash-Rock Charlatans! The Falcons are keeping rock alive with brutal CPR in Seattle." - Street Smarts |
